Amy started with The Foster Company in 2013. She has an extensive background in research, writing, training, and administrative organization. She redesigned our appraisal reports to their current format, creating a high quality graphic presentation and more efficient report.  In 2016 she moved into a support staff role working from a remote location.  As an Administrative Associate and back up to Vanessa Epro, she continues to contribute to our broad base of skills to handle all aspects of any property appraisal assignment.

Allan Foster;President, MAI, CRE, CCIM

Allan builds on a foundation of being raised as the third generation in a real estate and insurance business. He joined the company full time in 1980 and brings a full perspective of property ownership, permitting, development, finance, appraisal, brokerage, management, insurance, and entrepreneurial skills. Communication skills have been honed through years of marketing, negotiating, management, and public speaking.  These skills are central to his role as president of the company and in effective completion of his own assignments.

Vanessa Epro; Research and Administrative Associate

Vanessa joined the Foster Company in 2016.  Her background in real estate sales, financial accounting, and business administration give Vanessa a strong foundation with firsthand experience in the real estate profession.  She is the liaison for appraisal reports, and handles document management, report compilation, visual presentation, and appraiser support.  Vanessa’s role as research associate includes public records research, document procurement, and creation of analysis spreadsheets.  Her understanding of our diverse assignments makes her an integral part of our team.

Jaime Brown; Senior Appraiser, MAI

Jaime has been a real estate appraiser and consultant since 2002.  He has valuation experience in a variety of areas including general commercial and industrial appraisals, ad valorem tax, single asset and portfolio valuations, market analysis, and market feasibility studies. He has appraised a wide range of commercial and industrial facilities, complex residential properties and apartment buildings, subsidized and affordable multifamily housing, office buildings, special purpose properties, and vacant land for all uses.

Kenneth Croft, III; Vice President, Esquire

Ken has been a real estate appraiser and consultant since 1984. He has wide experience in the appraisal of real estate that ranges from multi-million dollar oceanfront estates and residential land suitable for subdivision, to apartment buildings, shopping centers, office buildings, industrial buildings, and mill complexes, as well as land suitable for commercial development. Mr. Croft has worked in each of the six New England states, as well as in New York and beyond.

Lawrence Langley; Real Estate Appraiser

Lawrence has been a real estate appraiser since 2002.  He is well versed in appraisals involving various interests and value definitions.  His completed assignments include valuation of full property rights, partial interests, partnership interests, and easement parcels.  Lawrence has appraised for various purposes including, financing, estates, purchase and sale, eminent domain takings, and real property tax appeals.  His years of full-time employment in the appraisal field lend an astute perspective to Lawrence’s appraisal assignments.

JoAnn Tunnessen; Office Manager

JoAnn joined The Foster Company in 2001.  She has a corporate background in both finance and management, as well as an AS in Business Technology.  JoAnn is the company contact for billing, documents, and support when President Allan Foster or Vice President Ken Croft are out in the field.  Her management and accounting skills have been blended over the years to give The Foster Company a well-rounded support system.
